Hello! I am Greg. When I was in college, I was very active in my fraternity. I was known by my brothers and friends as “Papa Bear” because I was always the one who made sure everyone was happy and safe. I always made sure lights were turned off at night and no one was reading in the dark. I was also known to throw a blanket over someone if they fell asleep on the couch, and would offer a hug to almost anyone I saw. Once people got over my 6′5″ frame, they saw me as a big teddy bear, which is where I got my nickname, and the name for this website.
On Thursday, August 9, 2007, Taryn and I became officially engaged. I have to say officially because we had already booked a church and a reception hall! This is a blog that documents the planning of my wedding, which will be July 11, 2009. I will also be posting other comments about my life within these two years.
