Old Times

One of their kids was complaining that she didn’t like corn, so Jim tried demonstrating that eating corn can be fun. He started eating it and pretending he was a type-writer. Their kids did not understand. Then, the girl complained about not liking corn again and the mom said she sounded like a broken record. The girl asked what that was!
It got me thinking, what kind of things did people used to do at weddings that young people don’t know about anymore? Anyone know of anything?
