Wedding Music

Posted on May 21, 2008 under Uncategorized |

I’m very excited about the music for our wedding. We’re pretty sure we’re going to have a live band instead of a DJ. We’re going to go with Tuxedo Junction, which was created by a former high school band director that goes to my church. Taryn’s family always has at least one polka played at their weddings because they have some kind of polish background amidst the German and Italian. Tuxedo Junction has a few polkas on their playlist, but one in particular that I know Taryn likes is the “Beer Barrel Polka.” Listen to the first song in the following video if you want to hear what it sounds like!

I love it! You know that I cannot dance to a polka. I have tried. A friend tried to teach me at the Baby Doll Polka Club in Chicago many years ago. He gave up. LOL
