Toasting Flutes
Posted on Jan 04, 2008 under Wedding Info |Last night, I was sitting in the recliner, reading my message boards about Butler Basketball (#16 in the country, 12-1!) and my cell phone started ringing. I ran into the other room to see who it was, but by the time I got there it had already gone to voicemail. I saw that it was Taryn, so I figured I had better call her back. She doesn’t ever call to just talk, so I figured it was something important. So I called her and she wanted to know if it was okay if she went ahead and got our toasting flutes for the wedding.
I like to think that I’m a little bit more involved in the wedding planning process than most other guys, but when it comes to the wedding flutes, I don’t even know where to begin. I told her that I didn’t care if she bought them, so she went ahead and got them. She sent me a picture so that I could share them with all of you! They’re Swarovski Crystal, which is very beautiful.

I really don’t know what we’re registering for. We’ve been careful to make sure we buy matching things so it’ll be easier when we combine our stuff (we have the same dishes and silverware, etc.), so we really won’t need too many of the basics. Crystal might be a possibility.
